Hi my name is Zachery! I am a Retriever/Lab Mix. I arrived here at the shelter February 7, 2015. I am a fun loving big guy! Don’t let my size fool you – I can be a gentle dog. I have lots of energy and love and I am just looking for someone to scoop me up and take me home. I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Because I am such a big boy, I would do best with older children. I’m just in need of some love and attention so if you have room in your home and your heart, come check me out! I love treats so training will be a breeze with me. I already know how to sit. I am just waiting for someone to let me show them how awesome I can be!

My Name is Rosco and I am a 3 year old Hound Mix.  I arrived here at the shelter on December 21, 2014Let me just put this out there…I am one good looking dude. I have a rich brindle coat, and one floppy ear that makes the ladies swoon! To show off my more playful side, a friend at the shelter put a Woodstock collar on me, just to, you know, tone down some of the handsomeness.
I’m a pretty intelligent guy and I love to learn new things. I really love my human friends – which is evidenced by my ever present smile. I’m kind of a fitness buff- are you? We could be great running buddies together. I’ll help get you into shape for all of those charity 5ks on the horizon. ...And after that,  we can cuddle. Hope to meet you soon!

I arrived at the shelter January 28, 2015
I am a 5 year old Domestic Shorthair. I am a  neutered orange male tabby who was found as a stray. I tested positive for FIV so I  need to be either an only cat or with another cat who is FIV+. When volunteers come to play with me, I like to climb out of my cage into their arms. I politely insist that they hold me! I am a dominant cat who would prefer to be Chairman of the Board in my new home; therefore, I would do best in a home free of small children and dogs.

NOEL is a  2 year old Cur Black Mouth Mix. Arrived at the shelter December 26, 2014
I’m a really cute, brown female Black Mouth Cur. I was shy when I first came to the shelter in December. Since I’ve been there, I’ve met many nice people who taught me how much fun people are to be around. The people at the shelter also tell me that I’m very smart and want to learn new things. They also taught me how to sit, stay, watch, touch a hand, and sit on a mat when asked to. I’m a medium sized dog and I  would love to go home with an active family.

Hazelnut is a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Arrived October 4, 2014.Hazelnut is our longest canine shelter resident, having called the CCSPCA home for 4 months. We just can’t figure out why no one has scooped him up because he is a little ball of joy! He loves to please people and has the cutest little sit you will ever see. He is another dog that would probably learn a lot of tricks from an attentive owner. He listens well and already knows sit, down and stay. He has a little face, but huge, beautiful dark eyes. He tilts his head to the side when you talk to him so you know he is really trying to listen. He loves to do zoomies in the yard as fast as his little legs will go. He is a total wiggle butt! This cutie is loved so much by staff and volunteers that a staff member has sponsored his adoption fee. Give this longtimer a look- you won’t be disappointed!Hazelnut is a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix.

I am a happy and lovable boy who just wants to go for a walk and play.
I am gentle, a quick learner, and love attention.  Please ask to meet me!

.5 year old Retriever, Labrador/Weimaraner. Arrived December 14, 2014. Mosby can be described as just chill, the perfect dog to hang out with. He can fall asleep anywhere in the most awkward, hilarious positions but it works for him! He is beyond all of that puppy energy but enjoys walks with his humans and playing fetch. This smart, handsome guy knows sit, stay, down and paw and handles well on a leash. He is housebroken- yay! He loves baths so it shouldn’t be difficult to keep his gorgeous slate gray coat shining. For all you cat lovers that have been thinking of adding a dog to your family- Mosby might be the right pal for you because he has previously lived with cats.
